Apartment Review for Turtle Cove - West Palm Beach, FL

I lived at Turtle Cove a couple years prior to moving back there last year. When I first lived there, Turtle Cove was under a different management, and I had no problems there, I loved it. That's why I decided to move back. This last year, was horrible. My apartment had so many problems, thermostat on ac was broken, ice machine in fridge not hooked up, carpet started lifting up by front door and it caused us to constantly trip over it, etc. The office staff is friendly at first, but as soon as you have a problem, they don't want to accomodate you.(It took them almost a month to fix my carpet!) The staff are a nightmare to work with and they are extremely rude. Before I moved out, I asked if they would be able to do the walk through of my apartment after I dropped off the keys, because I moved out on the wkend and moved out of state. They said it would be no problem they would do it that following Monday. It took them a MONTH to do my walk through and let me know about my securtiy deposit! I called their office once or twice a WEEK after I moved out to speak to the person about the walk through and he either wasn't there or, he would tell me his most infamous line "I'll have get back to you." And I would NEVER receive a phone call back from the office. I had to keep harrassing them for a month after they agreed to do the walk through the first Monday I moved out. I'm not too sure on the safety of the complex. We had recieved a noticed that some cars had gotten broken into, cops were in and out several times obviously looking for someone with their spot lights on their cars. Even our neighbor behind us got arrested the day we were moving out. Also, don't expect to get any sleep. The walls and windows are super thin, we could hear our neighbors next to us, above us, outside. The bottom floor, was a mistake. We had to listen to our upstairs neighbors walking around all through out the night, and even through the day. We barely got any sleep, I had to call the office several times to complain. The laundry room facility is useless, the machines either take your money or they don't dry your clothes. Bring your own washer and dryer or you're better off going to the laundromat at the corner of Military.
