Avoid Reflections unless you are a lowlife or a dr
Review Date: 8/11/2008 Reviewer: Anonymous
I moved out of Reflections on July 31st, and I'm so glad I did! When I moved in last year, I signed a one year lease at a monthly rent of $725. About a month before my lease was up, management offered to renew my lease for another year at a montly rent of $950. It's simply outrageous to jack up a tenants rent by $225 per month... That is a 30% increase in rent! Additionally, this development has gone steadily downhill in the time that I lived there. A drug dealer moved in next to me a couple of months ago, and there is suspicious activity going on at all hours of the night. I called up management on various occasions in order to complain, but absolutely nothing was done. There is also a tremedous turnover of residents, and there is a large minority population scattered throughout the development. Aimco (The company which owns and operates Reflections) has no problem renting to Section 8 tenants and Welfare cases. On the rare occassion that a decent person or family moves into Reflections, they quickly discover what a mistake they have made, and in most cases, they either break their lease or move out as soon as their lease is up. Do not consider moving into Reflections unless you are a lowlife or you don't mind living with lowlifes. If you want to live in a decent community that you will enjoy, please look elsewhere! You'll be glad you did! |
