Apartment Review for Lakeshore Apartments - West Palm Beach, FL

I just renewed my lease for another year and only because I it is my final semester at FAU. The complex was wonderful when I first moved in (when they opened for business), however the complex has gone down tremendously. What makes a great place to live is managment and tenants, when one has failed then all will fail. So what has happen here is that management has failed to follow through with maintaining what you would call "a safe place to live and play". The apartments are pretty nice( spacious rooms) considering the affordable pricing, but managment sucks' and most of the tenants are "ghetto." When you have the sheriffs or the city police patroling your apartment complex then you know that there has been some major problems. Ironically, most of the problems have generated not from the tenants but the tenants guest. Oh yeah, and the tenants unsupervised children contribute to alot of uproar as well. All in part, if management can make some drastic changes in their philosophy of what effective management takes, be firm, consistent, and persistant with maintaing compliance from tenants (zero tolerance for foolishness) then it would lead to gradual but significant changes. "Effective Management is the Key!"
