Apartment Review for Village Place Apartments - West Palm Beach, FL

I've lived here 2 yrs, from '05 to '07. The grounds are well kept. They are always having difficulty keeping the gate working. I see some sleazy looking people coming and going from time to time. The office personell have always been pleasant until recently.

The maintenance man became convinced that I was responsible for a leak, but I know I had nothing to do with it. He accused me of being negligent in not having called him to repair it. The leak was with the Air Conditioning unit, which was enclosed in a closet. I hadn't noticed the leak, but the Maintenance man indicated that I couldn't have missed it. I decided it wasn't worth it to argue with him about the situation. There isn't enough parking. I work nights and when I come home, usually everyone has already turned in for the night. I've come home more than once and was not able to find a space. I had to park alongside a curb in the parking lot that wasn't a designated space. The place where I parked wasn't blocking traffic or causing a nusiance. Nevertheless, the manager called a tow company and had my vehicle towed. I asked her why she did that and she couldn't really come up with a valid excuse. She had an arrogant attitude and refused to acknowledge that other cars had parked in the same spot prior to my having been towed. I had been planning to sign another lease to stay for a 3rd year, but I've chosen to reside in a community where I can count on management exhibiting common courtesy and professionalism.
